The Saturday Tech Academy


The Saturday Tech Academy is held on alternating Saturday's from October 2007 through April 2008 at the Pathways to Technology Magnet High School. The Academy provides weekend instruction for 50 Middle School students from Urban and Suburban settings. The Middle school students learn diverse technology skills needed for a successful matriculation through high school.

Upon completion of the 15 weekend academy, the Middle school students will have a lifelong experience on working in a diverse setting and competitive technology skills in Multimedia, Graphic Arts, Web Design, Music Production, and Microsoft Office, to prepare them for the high school education of tomorrow.

Instruction is given by Business Professionals and certified technology instructors. Student interns from the Pathways to Technology Magnet High School assist the instructors and students.
